Candle Care Instructions
First Burn: The first time you light your candle, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container. This can take 2-4 hours and is crucial for creating a full “melt pool.” This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle.
Trim the Wick: Before each subsequent burn, trim the wick to about 5mm. This simple step prevents the wick from mushrooming, which can cause excessive smoke and a large, flickering flame.
Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Know When to Say Goodbye: Stop burning your candle when about 1cm of wax remains at the bottom. This prevents the container from overheating.
Store with Care: When not in use, store your candle in a cool, dark place to protect the fragrance and prevent the wax from discoloring.
